AUTHORIZATION & ACCREDITATION

Grace Mission University is a nonprofit religious corporation under the Corporations Code of California and qualifies for religious exemption pursuant to California Education Code CEC # 94739 (b) (6). The university is licensed with the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) for the purpose of offering its educational programs. Furthermore, Grace Mission University achieved accredited status with ATS (Association of Theological Schools), TRACS (Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools), and ABHE (Association of Biblical Higher Education).

The following degrees are currently offered by Grace Mission University:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Theology (BA, 128 units)
  • Bachelor of Art in Christian Counseling (BACC, 128 Units)
  • Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE, 69 units)
  • Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (MAICS, 49 units)
  • Master of Arts in Christian Counseling (MACC, 49 Units)
  • Master of Divinity (MDiv, 105 units)
  • Doctor of Missiology (DMiss, 42 units)
  • Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies (PhD ICS 52 Units)
  • Ph.D. in Educational Studies (PhD ES 52 Units, by TRACS)

The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS)

Grace Mission University Graduate School is  accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (www.ats.edu) and is approved to offer the following degrees (MACE, MAICS, MACC, MDIV, DMISS, PhD in Intercultural Studies).

This status is efective for a period of five years.

TRACS is recongnized by the United States Department of Education, The Council for Higer Education Accreditation and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education(INAQQHE).

The Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of a Soldier’s professional and personal self-development goals. TA is available for courses that are offered in the classroom or by distance learning. The courses must be offered by schools that are registered in GoArmyEd and are accredited by accrediting agencies that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
